Opacity: Some are more opaque than others but it’s pretty opaque. However, I really like it, feels good and I felt like I got my money’s worth. Packaging: This collection was smaller than the previous packaging. It obviously dries down more matter than this. I also apologize for the bleeding swatch of Venice, my makeup remover mixed with the swatch and this was the end result. I mean I love anything Paris-related but that shade though. First all, one of the shades is called Paris Rendezvous- LOVEEE. I’ve wanted to try Ofra for a while and when I saw this collection, I couldn’t pass up on this.
Ofra Long Lasting Liquid Lipstick T-B: Venice, Santa Ana, Paris Rendezvous, Atlantic City. However, they were having a sale and I got the latter three for less which was so great! Here in Trinidad, I purchased these from a local beauty retailer known as, La Moda Chic and the cost per tube was $65 TT dollars. I’ve never really had an issue with it crumbling. I’d say 4 hours for the least and that’s with drinking water. I do a thin layer at first so that allows me to build it up a bit more without it turning into a crusty mess. Texture: Liquidy formula that dries down matte quickly BUT not too quickly, as compared to others. Opacity: Pigmented as hell for sure, with just one swipe. The applicator is doe-foot and can be used to line your lips, as well. My only thing is the fact that the holographic print on the tube fades after a couple uses. I personally think it doesn’t feel cheapy. Packaging: CP’s packaging is pretty great for a more affordable purchase. The colours range from pale nudes to the utmost vampy lippies. Clueless, Bad Habit and Avenue.Ĭhilly Chilly was my first ever Colourpop Ultra Matte Lip and the latter pic are my most recent purchases.ĬP definitely has the most impressive, in terms of diversity, line out there, I must say. T-B: Chilly Chilly, Bumble, Tulle and More Better. It’s also the largest collection I’ve got, thus far. I’m gonna start with the ever-so-famous and affordable Colourpop cosmetics.

These are the colours that I would also recommend to those with indian/olive skin tones but anyone can rock them really!įirst off, I think we all know the concept behind liquid lippies longlasting, opaque and can withstand almost anything… maybe not so much oily foods though. Having garnered a somewhat substantial collection, over time, I’ve decided to do a review to let you guys know those that worked for me and those that were kind of underwhelming. With a plethora of varying brands, shades and textures, it can be overwhelming when deciding what to purchase/try. I don’t think there’s a single person on this planet who isn’t into it. Liquid lipsticks have been the source of major hype within the last year. Have you guys tried any of these shades? What do you plan on wearing for the Holidays? If the others intimidate you then you could give this one a go as it’s also a cream formula so you can just swipe a little on and build as you feel more comfortable.

I’d suggest wearing a lipliner like MAC’s Currant or Plum and giving it a little pat with a piece of tissue to ensure that it doesn’t slide all over your face and you’d be good to go! The plus side is that it’s not drying and you can reapply, as freely, throughout the day/night. Hang Up is a deep plum shade that’s very creamy so be careful with this one. Well look at that, I’m including some traditional/ non matte lipsticks into the mix.
Ofra’s also a more hydrating formula so it wears well. I do think that this would suit an array of skintones. Atlantic City is not as out there as DOC’s Kiss of Fire which is why it’s described as as a universally flattering true red.So far, I’ve paired it with lipliners and just dabbed it in the middle of my lips. I also think it would be so pretty on other WOC. Who would think that plum metallic with gold sparkles would be flattering? Definitely not me. I’m not a metallic lippie person but 3 way may have converted me.It’s CP’s classic Ultra Matte Lipstick so you know it dries matte like it should. It wears wayy darker than swatched as it’s pretty opaque (excuse my not-so-good swatch of it). It may just be the darkest colour in my collection, overall. The darkest of them all is – Saturday – the saturated blackberry.DOC describes Kiss of Fire as a bright fiery red and it’s exactly that! Their formula is quite comfortable and it stains the lip a bit so when it fades throughout the day, you won’t be left with BHL.As such, it just felt right that I include a ‘Holiday Lippies Guide’for you all.
